2008 F1 Hungary Magyar GP Race: Kovalainen wins, Glock second

First of all, I have to admit that Toyota was not light. They had genuine pace and it was actually Massa who pitted first.
Massa destroyed everyone at the start as he flew up into P1 and then proceeded to make a gap down to Hamilton.
Massa was lighter, but it didn't stop him from leading most of the race until his engine gave up (or was it a fatal oil leak?) a few laps before the end. He would have won the race. Instead, Kovy got his first win and Glock got his first podium. Kimi got third and only came to life in the last stint where he somehow managed to get out of the pits in front of Fernando Alonso whom he had been behind up until Alonso's pit stop.
Anyway, Alonso drove well and secured fourth which gets Renault up in fifth place in the constructor's championship.
Hamilton had a puncture which destroyed his race but the team fueled him to the end and stuck him on the super softs and he managed to salvage fifth which may turn out to be very important points in the driver's championship.
Now there will be a 3 week break with no testing and the next race is on the new street circuit at Valencia at the end of August.
