I have a very special interest in this kind of music... Especially Ambient electronic sounds...

Bands such as the Chemical Brothers and Fatboy Slim have a special place in my heart.

My favorite style is techno, especially Detroit/old-skool stuff, but I enjoy pretty much anything electronic except shitty commercial euro-trance. My fav artits are Laurent Garnier, Derrick May, Underworld, Ellen Allien, Apparat and Aphex Twin

Daft Punk made some cool stuff as well

I wish i had more names to go after, but maybe i can get those in this group..!

Any of you guys already listened to Autechre's new album "Quaristize"? It's already available for purchase in mp3 and flac format on bleep.com. But I'm holding out for the physical release on March 3rd.

The Orb - The Dream (Basically I could recommend everything by The Orb...)
Autechre - Amber
Fennesz - Venice
Brian Eno - Ambient 1: Music for Airports

You should also check out the music by Boards of Canada, which is pretty moody. If you're interested in more experimental Ambient sound, check out some of the later works of Aube.

I remember hearing stuff from The Orb and Boards of Canada on Radio1, but I've never listened to any of their albums.

And speaking of Autechre, I'd love to see a hi-def version of Gantz Graf.

There's Electronic Beats festival this friday in Prague, with Underworld, Modeselektor and Alter Ego. Pity I can't go there - the tickets were sold out sice the end of Novemeber :(

gt1750, a hi-res version of Gantz Graf is available on Warp's "Warp Vision - The Videos 1989 - 2004" DVD. It's a very nice set, which also includes lots of videos by Aphex Twin, LFO, Nightmares on Wax and all those other Warp musicians. Plus it comes with a 1-hour mix cd.
Also, I'm pretty sure that you'd enjoy quite a lot of The Orb's stuff, if you're a fan of System 7. :)

I downloaded a high resolution video of their video along with the song from their website... I like the rythm they create, and it fits to the video, which is appearnatly one of those 64 Intro's
The website is linked on the info tab there, i haven't checked yet what more they've made, despite for having known this track for some time now...
