Btw, does the lead singer of skillet have a lisp? Sort of sounds like it in 1:20 - 1:23

Lol, same here. That intro was the first thing i learned on guitar. I've had so many friends from school that don't believe that i can actually play that, so i write down the tab for them so that they can try to play it, and then they always come back the next day and tell me that it was so much more easier than they thought it would be.

I can't just play the intro, but i can also play 0:29 - 0:41 in that video. And i can also do a small part of the solo too from 3:00 to 3:07, but only by tapping it. To play it while picking would be hard and would probably require about 5 years of guitar experience prior to being able to play that..

Yeah, i also like classic 80's rock, like the old Van Halen and Ozzy Ozbourne. Songs like crazy train and unchained and similar songs.

Woah, Whispers in the Dark is a good song. I've never listened to that song before, pretty good.

I'm not usually a fan of that harder sound though. I usually like that softer type of rock like this:

Relient K - Marilyn Manson Ate My Girlfriend

Yeah. There is nothing wrong with a seven string. It's pretty cool how they have more range even then a normal 6-string in dropped D.

Btw, how long have you been playing guitar for?

Squire Sratocaster. I like the guitar for it's sound, after all Strat's have became very legendary guitars specifically because of there sound.

Even though having a bass would be nice, i'm not going to actually save up for one unless someone offers one to me for a small price or something like that. Idk, they look like easy instruments and i'm not really interested in them anyway. I like the nice sounds of 6 string chords and nice high gain distortions more than i am interested in the low frequency range of a bass guitar. :/

Ah, you have a bass guitar too? Lucky you. All i have is a squire stratocaster. But i should be getting an Epiphone Les Paul Standard in Ebony sometime this year. I'm so excited! :p

I'm also planning on doing my own rendition on the Duke Nukem 3D theme song sometime this year and releasing it to everyone. I'm not sure when i'll actually get up to do that though.

hahahaha if only i could afford a Marshall. They have an amazing sound, but they are extremely overpriced......

I have some cheap Fender Frontman which has a nice clean channel but a disgusting overdrive channel. But now i'm okay because i have a buddy from church who sold me an MXR Zakk Wylde Signature Overdrive for $20 that he bought for $100. I thought he was an absolute psychopath when he offered that pedal to me for that small of a price. But hey, when life gives you lemons make lemonade.....

And a week after he sold it to me, he asked for it back. But that pedal is amazing, there is absolutely no way i'm giving it back to him.

And i think i'm at least a decent player. I can tap, alternate pick, and i know all of the major and minor chords. I basically just know simple stuff so far. I've only been playing 11 months after all

Friendship... It is one of the strongest bonds one will ever know. It will go through lots of wear and tear, but if its true, it will prevail. When one hurts, the other will too, when one is happy, the other is happy too, when one is in pain, the other is in pain. When one is laughing the other will too. Friends help each other, when one is down, the other will lift them up. When one falls behind, the other will catch him up. When one is in need, the other will help them out. Friendship... One thing...

Darkness. A full fledged peak of the unknown. You have no clue what is coming, or what has happened. If you fall, what will you fall on? If you walk, where will you go? If you speak, who will hear you? You can easily be lost. To be swallowed by the dark. You can hang on and wait, who will come? If you look, you see nothing. If you bump into a comrade, he will know nothing. You are both falling in the black, falling to the depths, can you ever come back? If you wish to see, or if you wish to know,...

I doubt many of you would be interested in this but, hey... I guess this post is just to test out the blog stuff that Joe Siegler ever-so-graciously put onto the forums. Right now the day has been OK. Ive tried "Speedy eggbert" (Game that you can see in Radar1013's avatar) It really reminded me of a mix of commander keen and jazz jackrabbit, so overall it was fun. No one is on dukonnector, none of my AIM contacts are online,...
