Question Original Grabbag MIDI?
Just a wondering... I've always enjoyed the Redbook version of Grabbag that's on the Atomic/PP CD (which is an extended version of the MIDI that's heard within the game), and was wondering if Lee Jackson (or 3D Realms) had ever released a MIDI file of this original version?

If not, please do -

I think you're missing the point of the Redbook vs MIDI version. The "opriginal version" you speak of is in the Duke3D game data, and if I'm not mistaken on the actual CD itself.

I think what he's saying is that the Red Book Audio version is longer than the MIDI one in the game, and he wants a MIDI version of that extended version.

Yeah, what Radar1013 replied

The Redbook audio version of the CD (Track 02) is an extended version of Grabbag, with more/different parts to it. I'd *love* to have the original MIDI of it -

OK, now I understand.

No, Lee created that after the fact, there was no retroactive create of the MIDI that I'm aware of. Lee also hasn't worked for 3DR since November of 2002, so I doubt this will happen, either.

I am in somewhat regular contact with him, but he's essentially retired from all this stuff - he's been out of the gaming industry for a long time now.

I've covered that many times before. Read the end of this (after William Scarboro).
