Looking for a Map...
I'm looking for a episode of maps that I created and posted on the internet, but my CD bacame corrupt and I lost the files.

The Name of the Episode is called 'Towers', it has 6 maps which were named: Towers: Labratory, Wild West, Darkened Future, Back to the Labs and Showdown (I think). There were 2 versions, one old one which was about 400kb, and a revamped version which was about 2 Mb.

The creator was me: Peter Johnston.

I'd kind of like to find it and keep a copy of it if it still exists on the net.

I did a massive internet search for your maps, and could
not find them anywhere. If your cd isn't totally destroyed,
the program here:

http://www.jufsoft.com

might be-able to get your data back.

Just about when did you do those maps?

I know I don't have them, but if they're the ones I can think of, I'd like to see them once more.

Re: Looking for a Map...
The first version was done about 2 years ago. I did an updated one, but I can't remember when I released that.

Sorry, it's all I can remember.

Re: Looking for a Map...
It will either be called Towers or EDF Camp. Usually one of those 2.

Re: Looking for a Map...
Nope can't find it

However if you can describe the file (name, size) or even a *.map name I could find it.

Re: Looking for a Map...
Ah, I've had people who have looked long and hard for it... and came up with nothing. I'm pretty sure it's gone... Sad to say. It doesn't matter now. I've looked long and hard for it and I found nothing.

Thank you to everyone who did try and help... I appreciated it.

Sorry but can't attach it since it's too big. I'll upload it to Fileplanet soon.

God, it's good to see my maps are still around. Once again, thanks for that Mikko. Your a genius. Quick question. Did you every play the episode. I just wanted to know what you thought of it. I'm definately no expert mapper, I was just twiddling about with what Build could do.

Don't remember much really - I could give it another look now when I review episodes as well. Back then in the days you sent it to me I didn't do episode reviews because if I made one I'd have to agree to do more - and Duke was back then more popular which would have meant no rest for me while everybody's sending me their episodes (I think I mailed this very same answer to you back then).

Anyways for the rest of you who want the episode get it here: http://www.fileplanet.com/dl.aspx?/p...n/edf_camp.zip
