Apogee
Now that apogee is back in action is 3d realms still doomed? Since they were closely related I'm a little bit surprised this forum didn't get used.

Re: Apogee
3DRealms isn't "doomed". They still exist as a company, and always have. The only change is that they no longer have an internal development team. They now function as a producing studio.
Much in the same way as they did on Max Payne and PREY.

The new Apogee has no direct relation to 3DRealms. And it's games and releases are no affiliated with 3DR. So, there's no reason for this forum to be "officially" used for discussions on Apogee's new games.

What does a "producing studio" do? Also glad to hear 3DR is still in business (more or less).

Re: Apogee
With George Broussard reportedly not involved with Earth No More, the question is if 3D Realms has now become Scott Miller's plaything.
If it has, what exactly is the point of maintaining two middleman type companies (3DR and Radar), both involved in ENM, neither of which has produced any notable results in years?

Re: Apogee
Scott Miller was always the one heading up outsourced projects such as Max Payne, PREY and Earth No More.
George was always the "Duke" guy and internal development lead. While Scott handled the other projects.

Really, at this time, it's unknown how things are being run at 3DRealms and it's not really any of our business. When the company wants people to know who's doing what and how it's being done, we'll know.
