Flash Player help? Random crashes.
This forum seemed most appropriate to me. Can ya help me out?

Alright, there are several things that I need help with and want to know:
What version of Adobe's Flash Player are you people using?
-If you aren't using theirs, which custom Flash Player do you use? (IE, gnash.)

Now. Flash usually didn't crash with me, but starting from flash9f.ocx (Or after a new driver. I don't know honestly..) and onwards, the player has had a god damn annoying tendency to crash the viewing browser at random/it's leisure. I even upgraded my graphic card/display drivers, deleted flash9f, went for it's beta (Hell, even DOWNGRADED into the 8 and 7 series.), but the crashes still persist. Does this happen to anybody else? Can anybody help me out on this subject? It's especially annoying since most of the internet uses the ******* monopoly of a player and I'm practically raped hard as a result (Windows 3/95 would've been more stable.. *grumble.*) of one of the Adobe coders' incompetence, or my own in the long run.

If I would have to post my system specs here (keep in mind my CPU DOES support SSEs, MMX and such..), then so be it.

10 beta 2 crashes for me too (in Firefox). As for your problems: Tried uninstalling/reinstalling? There also is an extra uninstaller, maybe this makes any difference.

A lot of people seem to have similar problems.

At work, we use IE with Flash 9.

There has been a few cases where Flash screwed something up. I am trying to remember what the heck it was, but basically it required us to reinstall Flash.

OH, the latest problem was when it screwed up a lady's HP Scanner software. It messed up some files that apparently the HP scanning menu uses via Flash. I had to reinstall flash and it started working again, but it said there was a problem with a specific flash file, similar to yours.

I just figured it was caused from an autoupdate that Flash did.
