Refresh Rate Setup ?!?
Hi

I would like to play prey with 85hz Refresah rate ... To my dissapointment I cant find any method of changeing this without installing extra software utility's (Reforce or Refreshlock), I dont want to use more software then needed and i cant find any settings for refresh rate in the "CFG file". Can anyone help me ... If not make the next patch with the option to change the refresh rate ... PLZ help 60Hz is giving me headache's

seta r_displayRefresh "85"

Can be added into your preyconfig.cfg but I dont know if that will change it or not. I have 100 in mine but I cant tell so I still think its 60 hard code with a fixed tic.

I have VSync disabled and my desktop display is 100 with VSync disabled there too but my FPS in the game is capped at around 60. I stay pegged at 62/63 all the time so something is either locked or hard coded like refresh or framerate cap!

Theres quite a few websites that show peoples disappointment in Doom 3's frame rate cap but I dont play Doom 3 but I know this games engine code is pretty much the same. Heres one site I found with some tweaks!
