Is this you own level? Just wondering because it would be bad if it was ID Software's level. Unfortunately I can't help you because I have never had this error before.

I don't know if this would cause this error but in Wolf the paths that the guards would follow where laid out in the maps themselves. The guards would then break away from those paths when they spotted you and then the AI (or lack there of) would take over.

If this is a user-made level then it may be that one of those path markers causes a guard to walk into a wall or right off the map. 65,42 would be the map coordinates where the actor hits the wall. dir 0 would probably be the direction he was going, probably north. If you send me the map I will look at it and see if maybe I can correct the problem.

*Sigh* Wolf map editing was cool, not hard like UnrealEd and even Build. I loved making levels that used all of the bugs in the game like ghost walls, invisible barriers and floors that hurt you when you walked on them.

It's my user map yes but I didn't add paths to it yet.

This is a bad user level error, or a corrupted data file error, or both.

Construct your maps better. That's the only way around this. Map errors are map errors, and can only be fixed by changing the bad map structure issue. It's IMPOSSIBLE to know what this is in Wolfenstein, because there weren't good map checks, as it wasn't assumed then that anyone would be editing the game, so id didn't put in anything that would be "user friendly".

You can try - I just have two words to say about that. Good luck.

I found it, the dog was walking off the map. I started laughing really really hard when I thought of "I'm Free!". So, here's the image that was inspired by that:

Re: Wolfenstein 3D error
Almost everytime i put dogs on one of my maps, it creates bugs where the dogs can go through walls. The game doesn't stop, but the dogs can just move through the walls, and the walls they moved through then i can move through, it's screwy.

Re: Wolfenstein 3D error
Well, if you want my error clear the map (in map editor of course) and put a border of I block around the edge. Then put a dog next to it (I'm not sure what direction) and it'll walk off the map.

I can catch the dog walking through a wall, but not off the map. I just created that from a screenshot I took.
