Bombshell weapons
Just to spark some discussion, what kind of weapons would you hope to see in Bombshell? For me I'd love to have access to a flamethrower or rocket launcher, setting an enemy on fire or lobbing a rocket in their face is always entertaining. I wonder if their will be some brawling in this game as well, seeing that mechanical fist in the trailer she could probably punch someone into a wall with that thing.

Yeah I think it would be wholly unwise to not utilise that arm in all manner of ways. Including some Metroid-Samus-Arm cannon kind of ways (Grappling arm, and various cannon type things that it could transform into.)

If indications are anything to go by, it seems like we'll be seeing a mixture of classic "modern" type guns and some out there alien stuff.

It'd be cool if over the course of the game you could upgrade your robotic arm with better parts that would give you different attacks or just increase it's stats if it was considered an upgradeable component.

The entire game revolves around the arm, and the weapons and tools it can turn into.
Each of the blue boxes is a new feature of the arm (complete arm techtree)

You'll know way more once we re-reveal the title

For all the possible projectile weapons, I hope we'd see a nice melee weapon. Chainsaw, sword or whatnot.

Not a weapon but a Grapple hook could be interesting, that would add a whole other dimension to the game.

She could spin on her arm and kick all the bad guys surrounding her.

Or some short of powerful weapon that 'causes enemies to be knocked back. I remember the first time I saw the Nail Gun get used in F.E.A.R. that thing was fun, it really pushed people up onto walls and they stayed there.

I don't know how exactly such a thing would be implemented into a game like Bombshell, but I was thinking about Super Metroid again, and I thought it might be really cool if you guys hid some secret weapons within the game that can only be activated if certain criteria are met.

The game is very Metroid inspired in this aspect.
You will be pleased
