DirectX
Please help me, Ivebeen doing some DirectX programming recently, everything was fine, but all of a suden the programs that worked before dont work anymore, when ever I click on the EXE it just minimizes then crashed, and these were programs that worked before, please help.

I have no idea. Try using OpenGL instead.

thats just the thing my openGl programs work fine, and so did the directX ones, but just today I turned one the comp and none of them work, they just minimize then crash.

Try updating all your drivers, re-install DirectX?

Im starting to get fed up with directX
Its a pain in the ass, I think ill just stick to good ol OpenGL. why does everything with microsoft have to be so complicated.

- when you run DXDIAG, do the tests pass?
- in the DirectX icon in the control panel, are all DX modules set to retail or debug?

- What version of Windows are you running?
- is there any messages? What about in the event viewer? (Win2K and WinXP only)
