Torrents are great if you think that a video will be overly popular. Everyone would be getting it at good speeds while saving the host site bandwidth. Although in the begining of a release it's always slow. Doesn't help when people close it after it's finished either. I'm hitting over 70k/sec download right now.

if you are reffering to MP2 you are most definitely mistaken, it was made for PC from beginning to the end and ported to consoles later by a different team.

It was just a teaser, basically it showed the main character and some of the environments. It has some great looking water effects and lighting.

Judging from the teaser it looks like another 3rd Person game.

Yes it does.
Look at that lighting. It's better than (Doom3-LightingxHL2-Lighting)².

Take a look at that picture. And even better than that, that lighting is dynamic.
It certainly looks better than anything I've seen from UE3.

Great looking shots and the first time I've seen bloom applied with a little more subtlety than that of a jackhammer.
I really like the atmosphere you've created in the teaser, shows that you can 'do' moody in daylight.

I know that and it's not the point; it was simply a little jab inspired by how good Alan Wake looks (judging from the screenshots and teaser).
As in, 3DR will now yet again be forced to change/upgrade engine tech to keep up and start from scratch once more.
I thought the rather unserious intent was clear, but apparantly wit is in short supply in fanboy land.

Nope, I'm talking about the standard console games ported to PC (not GTA) with no innovative gameplay, small maps and loading screens between level sections.
Anyway, I don't think MP2 was a stellar game (sorry Remedy). Just a MP1 with improved graphics + a girl.

So you think MP1 was not a stellar game?
Well 1 thing you are doing wrong is that comparing MP2 to MP1 only. Ever tried to compare the gameplay of MP2 to some other budget-busting games like D3 and HL2? I can surelly tell you that the shooting fun in MP2 was a lot more than that of those "big budget" games.
