How many Street Fighter games there really are? This is not counting ports either. I love Street Fighter with all my heart, but still....

Does anyone know if a Street Fighter 4 has been announced?

I also have another question: I remember hearing somewhere that Capcom had ducked out of the 2D fighting buisness (as in they're making no new 2D fighters) - Does anyone know if this is true? And what happened to Capcom vs. Sammy...it was announced long long ago.

It's sad to know that they had to spin off the series with so many craptastic side games, but only advanced the series up to SF3. What the hell is wrong with capcom? Is it that hard to make a real sequel?

Personally, I'd like to see a SF4 using the GGX2 engine (whatever the name is, Naomi I think?).

There's a built in limit to the number of images allowed in one post. I think it's 10 or something. Just post URLs.

Let's put the record straight: Street Fighter Alpha 3 is the best Street Fighter game to date. In other words, all the other games on that list can be deleted with no worry of repercussion. Well, except maybe some of the old ones for nostalgic value.

And if you don't agree with me, you're a big doo-doo head.

And I'll challenge you to a Street Fighter duel.
