Wacky Wheels track editor

I'm just looking for a "simple" track editor. I'm almost sure I came across a reference to one a while back somewhere.

The way the game works disallows for editors to be made. It is possible (as anything is), but very hard, the track set would need to be extracted then re-compressed and inserted back into the game files.

It's a lot of work, but I'm suprised it hasn't been done yet.

I thought it could be done due to the fact there was a bonus pack update. Swap the new tracks with the commercial bonus tracks? I don't know...

Anyway, it is a great game that most of the kids that come to my house love to play (teenagers too).

Yes you are correct Crosma.

If I ever got time, which I never seem to have, I don't think it would be too hard now
to actually just replace the exsisting tracks but I would have to look into it more.

The editor I built for the original game is a
bit clunky and I would have done it a lot
differently now. But that's hindsight for you.

Heh, I always thought Skunny Kart looked a little Too Much like WW...Wacky Wheels is better anyways (serves them right for stealing an engine)

Maybe that's a first step for a track editor.

AC: Did you get anywhere with the editor idea? I haven't heard much more about it so I'm guessing you gave up on it.
