    Right. However there's gotta be a way, especially since DNF is in Epically HIGH DEMAND.

    The legislative issues still remain, so it's not as easy. There is alot of things that need to be taken account for. You wouldn't want people's money and efforts end up in vain.

    Just to say, I'm not sure even if fans would donate 5million total - that could they even accept that money? There is a lot issues.

    Well yeah but it's worth a shot someway, if done right that is... Definitely it can be done within months as long as the fans help out in a good manner.

    As I've said, such actions wouldn't really fit here. Privately held company, and I no lawyer to say what the legislative issue would be in that too. Also, time would be of the essence. I bet that scheme would take well over a month to complete, making the efforts futile.

    How about a Money Bomb to Help Save DNF as Jobivan and I are proposing:

    100,000 Duke fans give $50 to George to finish DNF and in exchange we get a free copy of DNF before release, and bonus stuff right after DNF has sold well and gone gold...
