Sporting the best of the old design, and a bunch of totally new content, you can check it out now over at <a href="http://www.prey.com">http://www.prey.com</a>.

There's quite a few new pieces in the site, here's a list of some of them:<ul><li>The features section now shows small example videos of styles of gameplay such as Gravity Flipping, Wall Walking, etc..
<li>Several game videos available in streaming or downloadable formats (E3 2006 Trailer, gameplay trailers, etc)
<li>All new "Characters" section where you can see some of the characters and read about them. An example of this is shown in the screen capture to the right.
<li>Downloadable AIM & MSN Prey Icons
<li>Downloadable Wallpapers for your computer
</ul>That's not all, either. There is a "Music" section in the site which currently does not have anything in it, but will shortly - info on what will be there is forthcoming.

The character section is very cool. Never seen anything like that done before.
Can't rotate them though, that would've been even more awesome. :)

I agree. First thing I did was try to rotate the character. Guys, get on that would you? :D

Tip for everyone looking for the wallpapers: You have to hit each section of the website up in order to access the aim logos and different wallpapers. Pretty slick on their part, making the people go through the site looking for stuff.

Yay, i was looking forward to this...
Although, the current amount of new content isn't much, i'm hoping it will be so...
The new wallpapers kick ass... :cool: And i love the characters section...
I'm hoping for some Full Jeremy Soule soundtracks in the music section...

I thought that too... I actually tried, to see if it was possible...
Nevermind it though... I love the Mutate animation...

That, and the one with the Sphere's Surface...
The otehrs were cool too of course...

Yea, keept trying to rotate them all the time, it just feels like you should be able to and instincts kick in.

The Flash animations on the characters are awesome. I love the Centurion and the Mutate.

The animations are lovely... I specially like the one with the Hound...
I am the sole one who didn't attempt to rotate them, lol.

THe hound is very sexy. And each monsters is so different than each other... Amazing job on characters and monsters!

And i hope those mutate are hard as hell. Because they look very very hard to beat.

If you look at the 11 shown enemies in Prey, there aren't TWO of them which seem similar at all. In Quake 4, for example... how much kinds of on-foot soldier did you have? In Prey, you have one of them light and one heavy, that's all, completely different between them.
I think the strong point of this game, out of physics, are enemies... Prey's creativity hasn't been achieved by any game in the XXIst century, in my opinion.

Cool update... and yeah the first thing I did when I got to the character bio screen was look for the rotate button. But still, the character animations are a nice touch.

I tried to rotate the character's as well. But still, it's probably one of the niver websites for a game I've seen.

Really awsome. Unlike many officials this one is accualy intresting to wonder around a bit. Its intresting to see self shadows enabled. The overall effect is worth it i guess but you still have the hard egde poly artifacts (for the lack of a better word) on there. Especially on the hound. But tbh,, i dont really care. It looks cool overall =)

As far as flash websites go I like it. The wallpapers are cool, but I'm not a big fan of text and logos on my desktop....:o Its a wierd nitpick of mine.

uhm it doesn't work in Linux :( It needs flash 8 but the latest plugin for Linux is still 7 :mad: stupid adobe

i just use linux on my laptop because it isn't fast enough to play games anyway, but when i return home in 2 months i can finally play :o i have to wait much longer than the rest of you guys :(

Hmm, site seems to be down now. 2k has this bare-bones site: http://www.2kgames.com/games/prey which contains a (now broken) link to www.prey.com.

Prey.com now links to a Facebook page for Prey 2.

Ugh... even if this weren't something that isn't Prey pretending to be Prey... something about that Prey 2 image just seems so disgustingly generic.
