Hi, does anyone at all play this game online anymore? ive reinstalled it but there doesnt seem to be anyone online...at all?

sorry, but there was nobody online a year after it came out... it was some great multiplayer, but they were too slow to patch the exploits...

i could host a match if you're interested in. :D

i know it shall suck, because only us two would play, but it's better then to jump around in ''enemy free'' maps... ;)

i hope we are in the same time line... (at my place no it is half past 4 in the afternoon)

Maybe we could host a big match on here and hopefully get peeps into it again for a bit. i only ever played it on the 360 so this be my first go on the pc. the game looks so much better compared to consoles lol.

What time you thinking of hosting the first one? im free all day :-)

More or less yes. I'm one hour ahead of you (i'm from Slovenia, neighbor country to Italy) so one hour up or down makes no difference... :D

I just hope my ''too overheating comp'' will stand a challenge at least an hour or more of gameplay... :doh::D

So i think tomorrow is good to go. I'll be online at around 15.00 (djmondy - for you that is 14.00, dumbguy: we both are in central time, so that means for you is also at 15.00)
But if anyone from you can't join match at that time, please write it here, so we can set another time. ;)

And one more thing: please make sure that you have patch 1.4, which you can get
HERE and that your are running unmodded version of the game, so that we can make sure nothing goes wrong.

(If we accouter on a problem i'll be available here or on MSN.)

actually the first match is today... :D

as said, i'll be online at 3.00 PM and if there won't be anyone for... 15 minutes... i'll be back at 6.00 PM. I hope we won't miss each other XD

Oh and unfortunately i'm not using xfire... if you are able to, you can add me on MSN which is written in my profile.... :)

EDIT: as i read the instructions how to make a server, i run into a big problem - my internet connection. It is way too low. Already my download connection doesn't exceed 50kb/s, so the upload is even smaller. I also have to upload some files first and that would take ages...

How fast is your connection?

I boosted my internet, so it's faster now...

but i need to know now, how many ppl is still interested in playing... we need at least 4... 2 on 2...

eh, prey was great in its time, but MP died. you might want to download the demo. although it only has a couple of MP levels there might still be people playing it.

I'm in central time, so that means one hour ahead of you... but when the match will be we shall set the date in hour, but first i need to make a server of our own - i need to upload some large files and who knows what else... i hope this week i will have enough time for that...
