i dont care if it lacks like hell if always wanted to play rott online ever since i layed eyes on the beautiful game now please is there any way i can play this via modern day internetz:)

This is just my intuition speaking, but I have an unshakeable belief that one of these days we will be able to play Classic ROTT online the same way that we can play Doom on Skulltag.

It might be jbailey. It might be some else. It might even be me. But someone WILL make it happen.

We just have to wait. Or better yet, act.

I've found out that the guys at icculus were talking about trying to add
net play (that actually works), to their version of rott, what me and birger have at the moment only 'sort-of' works, and if they manage to get good net play going, their net code might get incorporated into winrott/winrottgl, - with their help probably since they will be more familiar with their code. I'll keep you updated..

Thats great news!!! Also maybe it wouldn't hurt to ask the people who work on YANG for help, they got Blood, Shadow warrior and Duke 3D working so it might be a good idea to talk to one of them.
