How do you use build editor
 
Hi just thinking using build editor to make a custom map for duke 3d. What are the controls. cannot find anything on the internet.:p

Thanks for that info Loke, is it easy to do. I have experience with Hammer Editor so, I know some basics with texturing and apply objects. I will learn this.

It's almost a completely different animal. But a much more tame animal at that. It's insanely easy to map with Build/Mapster than it is any modern-day level builder.

I am now using Mapster editor, it's easier to use. But when I press esc it crashes my mouse. I like to read tutorials then map. But this is quite tough to learn, it does not have menu's.

It's best to use mapster in windowed mode and not full screen.

Also make sure you are using the latest version from here.

If you press Escape in 3D mode the mouse freezes and it asks you on the top left if you want to quit. Just press 'N' and you'll get your mouse back. If you're in 2D mode pressing escape opens up a menu dialogue at the bottom and also freezes your mouse. It doesn't crash.
