about create new singal player maps in gtkradiant. i have exprience with quake 3 engine (OpenArena, wop) if is realy worth it to build some maps for prey for success??:D

Do you mean singleplayer maps or deathmatch maps?

IMO, it's definitely worth to build singleplayer maps, since the portals and the gravity volumes allow your Prey maps to have effects you won't be able to do in any other game based on id Tech 4. A great story will definitely be enhanced by great effects.

On the other hand, if you mean deathmatch maps, then it's not worth it because nobody is playing Prey in multiplayer.

Use the prey editor. Make sure prey is in a window, do ctrl +alt + ` and type editor.

Or create a shortcut with the following command line:

prey.exe +r_fullscreen 0 +vid_restart +r_multisamples 0 +com_allowConsole 1 +editor

The editor is basically identical to the Doom 3 one (except for the monsters and the addition of gravity volumes and portals). If you want to make something but you're totally stumped about where to begin, start reading this "Getting started" tutorial. After you understand the concepts, work your way through a series of more complex tutorials. Always make sure you understand what you are doing and why. If you feel you want to try something new, don't be afraid to experiment.
I did exactly that, and went on to make an episodic mod that a British gaming magazine defined "the best singleplayer mod for Prey".

No I wasn't saying you were making it up, I was joking that it's not really an achievement to have "the best singleplayer mod for Prey" while it has, as far as I know, almost no active building community. Same premise as "In the land of the blind, the one-eyed is king".

Of course I could be mistaken, perhaps there are hundreds or thousands of Prey maps and mods out there.
