New Forums
We're going to be launching this very shortly, but we're having new forums for the 3DR site. If you want to check it out before the formal launch, go here:
http://boards.3drealms.com Consider it a "soft launch", and the formal launch will come likely tomorrow sometime. |
Re: New Forums
Anyone familiar with Gearbox's new forums will be pretty comfortable here.
But, be aware it is a different software and does not function like the current forums. |
Re: New Forums
Like the Gearbox board, that's a change for the worse.
In fact, I consider it absolutely terrible. I also don't see the necessity considering the low traffic on these forums, which I can't imagine changing in any significant manner in the future (Bombshell is far too low key for that). |
Re: New Forums
So many changes of the years. Flower version is the best version, of course ;)

Re: New Forums
Why even bother considering how dead it is around here?
Waste of effort and time. Quote:

Re: New Forums
It isn't quite as bad as GearBox, but I will give it a chance. The forum change at GearBox was a deal-breaker for myself and a LOT of others. After that change, I noticed that many people didn't come back.

Re: New Forums
Well, the GBX forums is mostly filled with Borderlands fans, and people interested in their new title.
Personally, I'm holding out for the next Duke game, and the next Brothers in Arms title. |
Re: New Forums
My initial impression of this new forum software is that it exemplifies hip & trendy web development styles as opposed to actual functionality. However, I'll need to get familiar with it before I can form a nuanced opinion.

Re: New Forums
Once you get used to it, it's actually much quicker and easier to navigate then vBulletin.
I was put off at first when GBX switched to it, but once I started using it... I could understand why they switched. |
Re: New Forums
If it ain't broke, don't fix it.
Right? |
