Does anyone else remember this game?

Okay, so I played this game about 10 or so years ago (approximately) and the last few years I've searched endlessly to try and find anything about it, even just a screenshot, with no luck, so I figured I'd try and see if anyone else had any memory of it...

I'm pretty sure the game was called "Eyegor's Odyssey" or maybe "Eyegore's Odyssey" and it was essentially a clone of Chips Challenge, a 2D-puzzle game that I also used to play and still sometimes play in my spare time, because it's easy to find online. The only big differences in Eyegor (from Chips Challenge) were that you didn't collect chips, your character was a small, moving eyeball and you ended every level by popping your eyeball self into a bigass skull, whereupon the skull would say "Eyegor Lives!"

I don't know, it was a bizarre, fun little game...and if anyone could find anything on it, it would be incredibly appreciated. :)

I want to know the name of a DOS game, too. You were sort of a spaceman (Commander Keen-like) hopping around on a Pogo Stick, and one of the starting screens was this huge stationary aircraft. Game was fun and full of little secrets, and I can't remember its name. :(

Sucks to remember a game that no one else does, eh? :o

It's a little rough, but the game browser at MobyGames might give you the answer if you're willing to spend a couple of minutes on it: http://www.mobygames.com/browse/games

I know this game and I have it. If someone want this game, write [email protected] It's one of my favourite game. I've known it for 10 years.

Why not just tell us the name of it?

Please add some details and I will see what I can find.
Examples:
Did they have shareware or was it pre-shareware era?
Was is CGA, EGA, VGA?
What type of sound... PC Speaker, or digitals?

Any details you can remember will help find it.
I have all the files that Software Creations BBS had when they closed. (I bought their backup tapes) I estimate this to be 90% of all shareware and demos made through 1996.(about 90,000 files total) Next time I am home, I will look through the text files and see if anything matches... if you can tell me it was only VGA only for instance, and didn't support sound cards etc, I can quickly skip thousands of files making it reasonable to search for either of these games. :)

You guys did notice that this is a thread revived from 2007 right (by the dude who is going to give it to you in return for you emailing him ;))? My guess is that they either found what they were looking for, or don't care much anymore (but I could be wrong I suppose).

Seems to be it! Thread necromancy for the win. :)

My description was probably unnecessarily confusing, since you also have a pogo in Commander Keen.

EDIT: After checking Wikipedia, it might just be Captain Comic II. The graphics for that match with my memories much better.

Ah I figured it might be the second one, since you don't start in a spaceship thingy in the first one from what I remember. Never played number two though ;)

Also, didn't even notice this was such a necrothread :haha:

No matter. Looks like the thread revival helped out Echo Black anyway. :)

Re: Does anyone else remember this game?

So it's not even the right game? (EB reckons it's Captain Comic II, see above) Can't find this "Eyegor's Odyssey" mentioned in Wikipedia, but if it's a copyright game (IF!), this Echo guy who's only posted in this one thread shouldn't be offering copies of it unless he's a licensed seller...
