Prey for $2.25 on Steam..
 

I know it's not really worth creating a new thread about it. But come on..

Today Prey is just $2.25 on Steam and if you found $5 too much for it, you'd say it's at least worth 2 bucks.

Or in other words, I don't think it has been cheaper so it could be your day. Mine at least. :cool:

They actually already ran out of keys - there seem to be many new players. How about turning preymaster.humanhead.com back on?

For me, the CD Key Status appears to be 'OK'.

Not that there are actually servers to play in, or that the game is an interesting multiplayer game, but Steam running out of keys is kinda silly for that matter. :o

there are servers (e.g. 78.36.105.227:27719 - though I seem to be missing some files necessary to join) it's just that you can't see them since the master server (which tells everybody what servers there are) is down.

In my opinion, if Prey was released today as a fifty dollar title it'd be worth it, but 2.25? You'd be insane not to get it.

It happened with UT3 also. It's cause the games use CD Keys they need a unique database. It'll be back once they print some more CD Keys and hand them off to Steam.
