Hi,

I'm currently trying to add CTF to Prey. I'm aware that it's about 2-3 years too late but it's mainly for me and my friends when we do lan parties.

Anyway I need someone to test it with me since it's hard to test a team gametype alone.

I haven't implemented that much yet (I only started yesterday) - so far I have a new game type to choose from the menu, a little test map to go with it, team-spawnpoints, you don't get points for frags anymore and I also tried to raise the max. player count to 16 (I'd need at least 9 people to test that though...) - but there's already things I can't test alone, like frags. (Well, actually that's about it right now...)


So if you're reading this and you're interested: Just reply and give me some contact data (ICQ, MSN, Skype, X-Fire, Steam, IRC) plus when you're available (also provide your timezone please).

Oh, and I'll also try to fix the wallwalk + gravity volume problem - is there anything else you'd like to see? I won't promise anything but I can have a look.

By now the CTF Part is basically done and I also managed to fix the Wallwalk + Volume_Gravity bug. I just need some testing and some maps.

Strange, somehow I didn't see you... Yet.

Whatever, with all those new steam players we might have a chance of even getting the master servers back on and people actually playing this mod. :) We'll see.

Right now the flag's movement is kind of choppy because they aren't synchronised over the net very often. Well, at first they weren't synchronised at all. (I tested with myself on a laptop - prey doesn't run well there...)

Well, I'll put together a little alpha release for you. SayreX, I'd help if you had some kind of instant messaging - pm me an address/name if you're still interested.

I've put together a little alpha version with a test map - I'll send you a link in a pm - and later (in a couple of hours - I'm busy right now) I'll set up a server so we can test a bit. We'll see if we encounter any problems and I'll try to fix them. I'd also like to hear about crazy map ideas - with prey's wallwalk and changing gravity there are insane possibilities.

come to think of it y should it be " Capture The Flag ", How About Capture The Orb, it might look better, plus less hassle i mean its gonna look strange if some 1 runnin with static stick with no dynamic cloth. And So if u have an orb it could emit light so it could be harder 2 hide.
Hmmm Or maybe Steal The Battery , if the red team steals the battery and brings it to the base, than the red half of the map would light up, or something similar ¡¡¿¿ :insomnia:
