Old 3D Realms Shop Purchases
 

Okay, I figured that this would be the most relevant place to
put this post.

Some years ago, I bought a bunch of games from 3Drealms.
I can't recall....were people suppose to be able to redownload
these games, or did they have one chance to do so, and that was it?

I just bought the anthology, but would like to have a chance to get the
older purchases.

AFAIK no. I bought Shadow Warrior some years ago and from what i remember it was handled by Yahoo shops (or something like that) and only supported a limited time for redownloading the game. I'm not sure if they even kept enough information to make an account.

That was very common with software sales on the Internet before Steam. Well, it still is common actually, just today we also have Steam GOG, etc for games and app stores for other programs.

If you have your original receipts, we'll add the games you originally purchased to your library :)

Okay...so since I already purchased the anthology, what would that mean?

I was thinking that I'd be getting a boxed copy, based upon the store pic.

Would the receipts be what I got in my eMail from Yahoo stores?

Can someone post the original name of the install file, let's say for Crystal Caves?
I know that I have it somewhere on my drive, but I never renamed it to something obvious.
It's something like "cc......exe".

Does anyone remember if you had to have a Yahoo account to buy the games?
The last I remember, if you didn't log in for a period of time, the account was deleted.
And it's been way more than a year when I logged into my Yahoo account.

The old 3D Realms store, which was redone twice, didn't require a yahoo account to access. I know the 2009 store didn't require a yahoo account to access.

The 2009 store was with Digital River. The store before that was through Yahoo.

Is our past emails proof enough to get access to the games? For wolfenstein 3D, my brother bought it for me and had it shipped to him and had his name as the buyer, but put my email address. The game was for me. Can I still get the Wolfenstein 3D game added to my library if I still have the original wolfenstein 3d yahoo store email? I posted another thread on this in the other Apogee games section. Who do I contact regarding my past games being added to the library?
