Plug and Pray
 

Is there any possibility of releasing the "Plug and Pray" episode for DN3D on XBLA?
I personally think it was a great episode and I think it would get alot of downloads, I know i would download it.
If sold for a price of about 100-200 points it would make DN3D on XBLA perfect.

Duke3D on XBLA is already perfect!

Most of that stuff was already levels in Episode 4. Go take a look - there's only a handful of really unique levels in there.

I've recently recovered Duke again (with use of Eduke32) on my laptop now.
Before I used to have Duke Nukem Total Meltdown for PSX and never got past Nightmare Zone (the 4 doors puzzle)
And now Eduke32 doesn't have Plug and Pray episode (sadly)

Is there going to be a Plug and Pray episode ever for PC?
or will I never get to finish it?

Just asking.
(I'm new on forums btw)

Does nobody get it? Look at the levels in Plug & Pray? Look at the levels in Episode IV!

The majority of them are already there!

really? i cant recall a racetrack, a spooky mansion, an annoying cave system in episode 4 of atomic edition.

one of the levels however was in duke caribbea ( The secret level IIRC ) the one in the aztec tempel with all the water.

most of the maps seemed like user made maps.

so, from my memory i`ll make a list of maps in plug and pray

level 1, gray cave level with underground wierd temple like structures and some neat 3d puzzles.
level 2, the spooky mansion with a maze in the back yard, similar to the blood hotel level.
level 3, race track.
level 4, suburban area with a bar.
level 5, some missile launching area with an ufo there aswel ( Could be mistaken on the UFO)
level 6, aztec temple
level 7, the disco with the last boss.

thats all i can remember really. bound to mix quite a few up here.

Taken from Duke Nukem Wiki. The Birth levels are different afaik.

I'm sorry, but I believe that is 100% incorrect. Show me evidence otherwise and I'll eat my words, but.....

I've played through "The Birth"(E4) as well as "Plug and Pray"(featured in Total Meltdown) and I recall none of the levels being the same.

The episode "Plug and Pray" is called a PSX exclusive for a reason.....in fact I even recall some modders getting stopped from trying to port P&P to the PC.

Release plug and prey regardless of the exclusive hehe
just rename the episode.....pray for plugs etc

Nah it would be good as DC though. Only reason why i would not get it for the playstation is because of the controls are a little out of date and would make the game much harder. Im pretty sure it came out before the analogue pads were in existence?

I could never get past the first level in Plug and Pray >_<

It would be a great expansion for a couple of hundred MS points.

The first level seperates the men from the boys - it can be hard until you get about halfway through it. I love the episode myself, a lot of fun and some pretty cool levels, like Gates Motel.

Hey all,

I finished plug and prany on PSX and it's really a great episode.
Nightmare zone make my crazy but finally it is based on switch button and run to a door...

I Sell total meltdown and now i cant play again on pc... im so mad.

If you are a dn3d fan and u didnt play plug and pray : buy psx and this game or play it on emulator this episode is really so hard and so good !!

The Birth has nothng to do with Plug & Play really. Levels have some similarities like:


Trackside Tragedy racetrack - Babeland stuff
Duke Roayale bars - Duke Burger restaurant
Alien Rendezvous tech stuff - Area 51 tech stuff

But this is like saying that Wolf3D is similar to Quake.

Plug n Pray was the most epic episode in any duke game.. Difficult at times... And if you are playing on come get some... Only true dukers can conquer this episode... Would be great dlc for xbla...
