I really hope Mona Sax is in Max Payne 3!
 

I really hope Mona is in the game. Honestly i don't care if she is a playable character in the game or not. I just want her to be mentioned in the story arc.

If say they take the first ending of Max Payne 2 where Mona dies hopefully they tell how Max reacted to losing another person he was starting to love and care for and maybe how that contributed to him leaving NYC and the NYPD.

If say they take the second ending where Mona Survives make it so that she was arrested and put in jail or say she was took to a hospital before they would take her to jail mona decided to escape the hospital and bail but writes Max a letter saying that they will probably never see each other again but that she cares deeply about Max but just can't go to Jail.

Then a few years later Max life continues to go down hill and decides he needs to find and get with Mona.

Just hope she is involved in some way. Mona is a really significant part of max payne imo.

in the main continuity Mona is dead. The idea of a love story for a man who's main motivation was the death of his wife and child, was idiotic in the first place (IMO).

please, people, stop bringing this up.

Mona Sax is dead. I think that is pretty clear in the end of the game. In Max Payne 1 there is no body so it is easy to throw her into Max Payne 2 but the game ends with her and Wooden dead in the hallway as the cops come rushing in to arrest Max.
Mona Sax is dead and if Rockstar decides to properly kill the franchise (which they already have judging by the content of the 3rd game) they might as well throw out all continuity and not just the story of Max Payne. That would mean, I would not be surprised if Mona Sax is a NPC and you have freaky sex with her in the game as a mini game that is cut out and then added in as a AO patch.

If you finish Max Payne II on the hardest difficulty, Mona survives, this is the true ending of the game for those that go to the trouble to see it. So Mona is alive. :)

I don't think Max Payne II is a "love story" per se, but certainly romance is involved and Max ends up falling for her somewhere along the line as they battle against the forces of evil. :)

What I mean is that the minute-to-minute focus of the game isn't on a love story, the focus is on surviving and stopping the bad guys, the romance sort of happens along the way while they are both caught up in the middle of all these crazy events, that's where the love story part comes into the picture. It kind of sneaks up on Max, and probably Mona, too. :)

Max's focus is on settling the score with the evil forces that have largely ruined his life, that's his motivation, but Mona starts helping Max out in his lonely quest and he finds out somewhere along the line that he really likes her. It develops over time and so I think the story makes sense and works quite well. :)

Not only you but almost everyone is hoping that Mona is in the game.I also don't care if she is a playable character in the game or not. I just want her to be mentioned in the story arc. I am also hoping that the story line should be like this interesting.I am sure that the story line would be awesome.I am just waiting for the game to be launched.Thank you.

It would be sweet to have her in the game, but I'm not sure how this story ties her in. This story supposedly takes places 12 years after he leaves New York City. He is working in Sao Paulo, for a private security sector for this rich family. Not sure as to what happens but some how he is double crossed again and has to do all he can to clear his name. So basically they moved his problems for New York, to Brazil. If you ask me its kind of weird as to why he would want to work for a security sector for a rich family, because his focus has always been solving crime in New York.

Based off what you all said in this forum, they would be using the ending from the Dead on Arrival difficulty. Once again she would be a fugitive. What really makes me wonder is who the death for Alfred Woden and Vladamir Lem were blamed on. Were they blamed on Max and Mona sense they were both fugitives or was it written off as a war battle. But if you ask me, Mona would be out on the run avoiding the cops, because she could possibly hold valuable information as to what happened and where Max Payne is.
