That would be wrong.. Because I partisipated in one of the largest Danish Online petitions ever, It was a petition to bring back a popular brand of Ice Cream (ZAPP) and the petition worked..
Though it wasn't on "Petition Online". The authors of the petition made their own website, where you could read about the ZAPP's history, who made the petition and ofcource why they wanted the Ice Cream back. And last but not least sign the petition..
The authors filtered away stupid SPAM, so only legit signatures where approved. And you needed to fill in your REAL address IIRC..
Surfice to say the ZAPP is back, they even made a new flavor now.. So saying no Online Petitions EVER work is DEAD WRONG..
