All the BC does on Xbox One is emulate the 360 software, so if they shut it down it wouldnt work.

For both my friends and I, we were sure it was true. Not only are developers leaving the last generation behind, but last generation consoles are almost ten years old. Taking those into consideration and the fact that the XBOX One is gaining backwards compatibility, I think believing in the rumor of Microsoft turning off the 360 servers made sense.
