I get a random crash within about 5 minutes of playing the game. Sometimes I can play for 15, other times for only about 30 seconds. The oddest thing? Multiplayer is rock solid.

I have a BFG 6800GT and an Athlon64 3000 running on an MSI Nforce 3 mobo. I'm going to try some of the suggestions found here and post more details on my system later, just wanted to keep this thread bumped.

Oh yes, and more details on the crash: The screen goes rainbow technicolor and I am forced to reboot, ctrl-alt-del does not work. I seem to remember the sound looping, Ill confirm on that later.

Lets get this one fixed people, its probably some obscure setting, my experience with WoW (another picky game) has shown me that tech support for these types of issues falls to the community :-(. There are simply to many combinations of hardware for the developers to reallistically test.
