For that particular title, I can see that, I was a lot younger on my first run through, and I totally agree that you should have to feel your way around a bit before actually making it out of a level. I don't like being put on a linear track that I must follow, and if I am, you had better hide it well (hl2) so, that being said I can't really think of any other examples, I don't play many games
