I still care. I check ShackNews a few times a week, and check 3DR the forums about once a week.

But really, there's nothing worth talking about until 3DR wins the lawsuit (optimism there) and returns to working on DNF (and don't fool yourselves with the "development of DNF continues" -- they don't have a dev team, folks), and/or make any kind of announcement regarding the future of the DNF franchise.

To me, best case scenario has 3DR winning the lawsuit next year, and recouping some losses. I don't know the fate of DNB, but if it could get released, they could use some of that money to finish up DNF.

What I'm afraid of is that by the time the lawsuit is over, DNF will be due (yet once again) for an update. 3DR's track record suggests this will happen, and makes me wonder just how far behind DNF will be. If it ever happens at all.

It's sad that we were so close to seeing DNF (next year or early 2011, if you believe the court docs), and then Take2 has to go all shitty and pull this lawsuit crap. If not for the lawsuit...
