    Yeah it's 9x. They were released in some Gold Edition pack. The problem is X-Com is 2 EXEs (with X-Com 1 having additional one named INTRO and BLACK). The games are linked by a Batch file. The Batch files Runs all the sound setup and black and intro, the black then geoscape. That's the main EXE. If you load a save it checks the files there. One file is a key bascially. If it was saved in a battle then the GEOSCAPE exe gives an error and quit and then the batch files loads up Tactical and so forth. So bascially messy. The Windows version basically took the EXEs and glued them together so it crashes sometimes. :P
