Well, I do like DXIW more, to be frank. Probably cause I expected DX to blow my mind but I already played VTMB before playing DX so my mind was blown. While I expected DXIW to be shit since everyone said it was shit. :p

I haven't played the first one, but I've played TS2 and Future Perfect to death. From what I understand, the first one didn't have a story, or even really a good singleplayer structure to begin with. It was all just random missions with characters that didn't even fit into the universe. It was basically just a multiplayer focused game, while the sequels were a lot more fleshed out.

I'm playing on a custom difficulty, with all of the sniping options like wind and heartbeat turned on, realistic grenade damage, and medium AI. I found that if the AI is set on a harder setting, it gets a little too unfair. They'll know exactly where your shot came from, even if they have their backs to you.

What do ya think of FEAR 2 so far?

Nah, I'm just extremely jealous of you experiencing one of my favorite games ever created for the first time. Hope you have fun... :(

Actually, I uninstalled and reinstalled to test something for Monolith a while back.

I did a full uninstall, I deleted all local content from STEAM and then manually deleted all left over files in STEAM and My Documents.
Then, reinstalled the game using the 2 DVDs... when starting the installation they found my STEAM account and that FEAR 2 was already registered in my account and installed easy.
So, I uninstalled through STEAM... not the control panel, and still reinstalled using the DVDs. So I didn't have to wait for the download. :)

Yes indeed, this latest news actually did make many videogames news actually. George confirmed that DNF is 80-90% Done!! That means we'll be seeing a Trailer by Summer with a Release Date in it for sure too!! DNF is finally coming this year most definitely!! Get ready To Rock, I'm excited even more now!!
