I've read quite an amount of conversations between Adrian and Thomas Grip from Frictional Games on the subject of new/better ways of storytelling, player agency and so on. Interesting stuff. Considering their opinions on that matter I'm more than intrigued to see how they intend to improve upon that in their own games. It's more likely we'll see something interesting/innovative from small studios that are more interested in experimenting. They might fail, sure, but at least they try.
