1. Personaly I loved the addition of puzzles.
I think there's definitely a larger fps user base that likes to "think" while they play. Probably the reason strategy based FPS games have become so popular. Think Battlefield 2.

I'd love to see more puzzles or obstacles that require some serious thought.
I think Prey really only scratched the surface of what they could potentially accomplish.

2. I agree with the idea of an Alien environment, I'd like to see the beings that Elouite (sp?) was talking about at the end. I think the cool thing about Prey was that it was so Alien. I've seen enough Earth based alien invasion games and Crysis is already covering that one again.
I say let those artists get freaky and come up with something wild and new.

3. Definitely more of Tommy's spirit abilities, the shield and maybe even more. I think it would be cool to find out that Tommy was actually more than just an average Cherokee, maybe some kind of prophesized hero that possesed abilities beyond others. It would open the game to some really stellar fights.
Maybe he can hold up his hand and make heads explode alla scanners.
I dunno just something beyond the bang bang gun ideas.

4. I also agree with everyone who said open up the environments a bit. However I think that exploration should be rewarded. One thing I really miss from old school games was the secret areas and hidden power ups.
Some of the new games do this but I think it could be expanded.
What about secret levels? Maybe those levels could even explain sub plots in the story?

I'm sure I'll be happy with whatever you guys come up with though.

Oh yeah, Blue Oyster Cult was a brilliant addition!
How ever much you spent it was definitely worth it.

Well full scale production on Prey lasted from August 2001 to June 2006, development on Dead Man's Hand was from 2002 to 2004, I believe. Actually here is the precise information:

Sure there will be, it have been discussed a lot of times and 3D Realms has announced Prey 2 already. But I wonder if Human Head still on the project.

I just finshed Prey...and wow what a game for the secound round of tommy 's adventure i'd like to see better A.I,and more creatures to battle or more freaky ones somthing to scare the hell out of me .The ones that got me to jump once were the big fat guys with the claw hand heh..Im hopping they dont change the music it was the best..I loved the last song with the credits

if i buy prey 2 it will be a resold copy from EB. Good luck getting anymore then 15 bucks for your copy of prey 1 at EB. Nobody wants this crap and if you say otherwise I say wipe your nose cause there is brown stuff on it, with flies circling it. 3DR has consumed far to much of my time and energy to get anymore from me. If Duke 4 ever makes it out I will buy that new but it will be the last 3dr game I buy. Unless there is a staff shuffle in the customer/fans services.

I s0000000000 loved playing Prey, especially the way the story line went in. The game fit together perfectly. What made it good, was the Problems tommy had going on in his life, then the anger he felt for the death of his loved ones. The music to the situations fits in too, like tommy going into the sacred land, music matched perfectly with that. Ive seen many things like that but this one is way better. Prey 1 just straight up hammers in halo 1's storyline pretty much! I really dont know why games like this actually get dramatic to some people, but it did me. Games like this have a chance to make it to the top.

How will Prey 2 come out though? Ok, you have the Keepers gone and the sphear was drivin out into the sun. I assume there will be like a whole new enemy to face. Need a new plot to it maybe and the way it starts off. Make it dramatic, the way things start, rise, lower, then end. Make the music fit in with the settings as they did in Prey 1. Good voice acting, yes, that makes a huge difference in a game also. Loved how the grandfather sounded, wise like. Tommy, well he needed to sound a little bit more like he wanted to kill those people for what they did, but he was good. his girl yes that was good also ^.^! Making the levels to where they are somewhat in a crisis or in a state of danger, taking action, like the way you would see a battlefeild or in good times, like the bar, well it did have some good untill the barfight ~.^'' Taking more time on the way it looks. If you take that, stir it all up into one, and make a game out of it, its going to turn out perfect, whoever wrote out the story line, you did great job. just keep it up! Its just my opinion on this

Now wouldnt all that make it a great game? I think so ^.^

Need your comment on this please! it would be helpfull ^.^

your ideas are fine and you make want to replay Prey. Considering Prey was released back in july 2006, i dont expect to see something from Prey 2 until next year and i'm sure we'll be blown away by it, when time is ready.

What I would like to see in Prey 2 is Prey 3! Hehehe!

I just wish Prey 2 were out now and the sequel would be released this winter. I don't mind if it's on the Doom3 engine. The game technology isn't really that bad at all. A little dark if it's anything. But it looks good enough for me. I'd just like to find out where Tommy goes from here.

Exactly! Unless Prey 2 was just a direct continuiation of the series (something i've never seen in the last couple generations of games), and they just tapped the existing Prey Resources and expanded on it for a sequel.

Prey streeted over a year ago. If Prey 2 is supposedly being worked on, why is there not even a peep since over a year ago. I'm not asking for something to be shown at E3 or your mother's basement.
