Man... so far my copies of Plutonium Pack, Duke it Out in DC and DN3D: Kill-A-Ton have arrived. But my copy of Shadow Warrior (boxed version) still hasn't shown up.

Once Shadow Warrior shows up I will. Sucks though, the guy I bought Plutonium Pack from kindof stretched the truth a bit.

The box... was.... well... horrid. I tried, but there was no way to save the box. But at least the cd-jewel and disc are in good condition.

That sucks, did you posted negative feedback for it? My copy is in perfect good shape with the Nuclear logo on the cover not Duke.

If I wanted to be anal, those Wolfenstein 3D CD's don't count, as they're the retail ones done through id directly, not Apogee created CD's.

I know. But Apogee still helped id make Wolf3D... tis the only reason I include them. And the full version of the game I have, the retail box had the Apogee logo on it.

I made a photo of my complete Apogee/3DRealms related games and, 'stuff' collection...
---

---
The magazine is Denmarks most popular gaming magazine '>PC Player' that featured this cool frontpage pic of Prey...
The Dopefish is made of the clay-like material 'Fimo'... It's very fragile, and tw of teh fins actually are broken off... I made it myself, and just threw it in the photo as a funny bonus to make it look more interesting

I wish i had a box for Duke3D though...

I still got my action figures...granted out of the box cause they were just too cool to keep boxed up when I first bought'em. Only problem is the Octabrain's legs came unglued and fell off but I can easily glue those back on. I haven't even opened the package the ooze for the head came in. I think it's all dried looking though now...have to find him to double check

Re: Post Pictures of your Apogee/3DRealms Collection!
Guy who said its over priced maybe your right for a few years ago, look on ebay now uk,us,eur and try find them all within 6months you wont the price is there relly because you just cant find them any more, the common ones yes but the rare few like the duke with freeze gun and game, statue and the exclusive one are like gold dust most of the figures would have cost say £10 a few years ago plus postage say £12-£15 so for the 7 your already looking at £84-£105 then £200-£300 for the statue your looking at nerely 400. the statue was realsed at i think 100 and somthing us dollas all those years ago, iv seen 4 go on ebay for between £200-£300 but as of the last 8 months i havnt seen any on ebay and the figures are getting sold less and less aswell so time is running out if you wont to own them all.

iv started at 300 and put a reserve on there but would let them go for anything over 300 i just wanted to keep the bidding going :P hard times have to sell things like these but believe me if i had somthing els to sell i would

I received two Duke action figures today, the Pig cop and the BattleLord for 25 euro in total. Too bad the arm of the BattleLord broke off during transport. I also got a Lara Croft statue dating back to the original Tomb Raider. Yeah that last thing hasn't got much to do with Apogee but it's worth the mentioning.

Hehe yes i am the seller thaught it was a good idea to join the forum see if anyone who was a fan was looking for the set. In your opinion do you all think these are honestly over priced? considering you used to see loads on ebay now you see a couple and thats it i can imagen over the next year maybe two these figures will become even rarer iv spent alot getting them even baught doubles just to find a pack that was not ripped and things im not going to make a profit out of these and never entended to just wanted them when i see the first figure i was like i have to get it then i relised there where more and led to getting them all but iv kinda grown out of the gaming and that..... well atleast untill dn4 comes out haha. i also have a few quake figures that got sent to me accidently

I am actually concidering it... Although, i must honestly say i really just dig the Statue... But i may just get this along with all the other ones...

I just moved in to my own place though, I must be somewhat careful with my money...

300£ is about 2800 Dkk for me... Which is, fairly much... 2500dkk would be a nicer rounder number to afford it, since that's about what i have left to spare after i pay the bills...

You mean how we get hold on those sealed copies? Could be stores digging out their archives and selling stuff that they just wanna get rid off or a game collector that sells a part of his collection for various reasons or maybe a trader that bought the game on a second-hand market and is now selling it for a bit more on eBay to earn a buck or two. I got my hands on some rare sealed games like that, either very cheap (Wacky Wheels) or very expensive (Blood One Unit Whole).

Here's mine:

Of note I think are the Wacky Wheels and Keens 1-3 boxes, they're from the Edmonton, Alberta, Canada distributor.

The PC Gamer disc showcasing Return to Castle Wolfenstein is there because (if you look really close at the bottom of the sleeve you can see) it includes the full version of Wolf 3D. Also, the image from the left-most PC Gamer is from the back page of the October 1997 issue telling of what was to come in the next issue, a cover story on Duke Nukem Forever (though I don't actually have that issue, so the back page of Oct. '97 will have to suffice).

My collection's bigger than I thought...

Yeah, they look like locally produced sharware boxes, to be honest.

The Raptor box I've never seen before. What's the deal with that?
