That's a pretty heavy price but given it's rarity maybe not (I paid about $175,- less for mine though).

I'll bet they are. The price I paid for it hasn't sunk in yet though

The catch is that the statue is slightly broken, though the box is in good condition.

Duke arrived today, and damn, he's lookin' good!

The only nitpick i've got with the statue, is that the tip of the enforcer's tougue is missing.

Other than that, it's a great statue of the king.

Tip of the tongue is broken off, wasn't around either, so i naturally can't re-attach it...

While it isnt a terrible statue, as an aspiring sculptor, I think it could have been done a lot better, especially considering the price.

The price does have more of a rarity and coolness factor attached to it, and not so much the overall quality...

I have one of these myself. Number 497 or 479.. somewhere in that region. I've had it for the better part of a decade at least, and I found it in it's original box in my closet collecting dust. Maybe I'll sell mine one of these days. With as much chaos there is in this house, I dare not put it out for display or it would be shattered into a million pieces that God himself couldn't sort out.

I see someone sold it for $40 recently - I guess they didn't realize what it was really worth . I wonder if I waited for Duke Nukem Forever to be released - then maybe people would be flocking to buy Duke stuff, hehe.

In any case, if I decide to sell, I'll probably update this post and give you guys some warning (if thats allowed) since so many are interested in finding one. I have a habit of starting everything I sell on eBay at a penny, so it might be fun to see the bidding wars hehe

I have decided that I am going to sell my statue afterall. I also went through my old things and found various other rare Duke goodies and I believe I am going to sell it off as a package. I'll probably get around to sticking it up on eBay sometime early next week. I'd do it sooner, but tomorrow is my birthday and I plan on going out of town. :-D

Are you sure you want to sell them in one auction? Because I'm only interested in the Screensaver Pack meaning I would have to bid against folks that will crank up the price because of the statue and Kill-A-Ton.
