Its not just you I was thinking the same thing. Though his arm could just be behind him mabey? Pretty sweet anyway.

Just want to notice that you can make his biceps more "rounded".

I agree. It couldn't have been done better. BTW these are also included in latest HRP Update Pack v3.4, even if they only show up in the Ep.4 "Pigsty" level.

Shrink ray (1646-1649,1656-1659)

The zipfile has no compression and maintains the HRP structure including def, so it should work if you just put it into your AUTOLOAD folder in your EDuke32 dir.

How do I make alternate palettes(red skin, blue skin) in GIMP?

I'm no artist and haven't used such editors with frills. But I need to know this because I want to be sure the palmaps will work properly and I will be able to adjust theirs tint.

Tile #0658 and #0659 were made by GodBlitZor and they can be found on the first page of the "Enhancing Duke's Spritely Appearance part 2" thread. The reason i'm posting this is becuase these tiles were already made and they are not in the HRP.

Make sure you have enough texture untis(see the log for "You have 4 texture units." or something)
I included two palmaps for trooper. Check out the "highres" folder. You can check them ingame in the "examples\pals.map" map. Also study the rendering which is under the spoiler above. You can use gradient instead of solid colors.

I made the palmaps via GIMP but they aren't accurate because I was selecting things by my shaking hands and didn't see the alpha layer(I saw only a tiny preview in the layer window). I'm not complaining. My idea is, they should be redone.
Anyway I don't need GIMP in the near future. Don't worry about this.

Did that, didn't work.

Now got a highres/sprites/projectiles directory in autoload and a projectiles.def in the sprites this sprites directory. I still get the old shrink ray though.

Yes! I've always noticed that this texture was still lowres in the game when the HRP used to work in my computer. It really stood out. And now it's done!
