Hype train? Most of us boarded the hype rocket years ago. We've yet to arrive at our destination unfortunately, and some of us had to resort to eating each other.

3DR is hyping crackle.com and/or Jace Hall.

I'm not riding the DNF hype train again, especially when it's just a rumour of a possible mention of something about DNF on a show 3DR are promoting. It's the next step after the Shacknews statement. Maybe I'll take a look some time this week, but there won't be much substance. At best, this is a possibility of the potential beginning of something that might one day become an approach to a release. It might be something to get excited about in a few months time.

Although I will admit to having some money earmarked for PC gaming upgrades and I will admit that DNF would tip the balance into me buying new kit, if it is released.

Is it a joke show? Is there going to be some guy dressed as duke saying "DUKE CANCELLED LOLOLOLL" ?

Please, if it's going to be anything like that, just cancel the damn show or release a proper trailer TOMORROW to avoid any reputation damage.

Well Joe says it's "rumored" for june 4th. Although if crackle is down it may end up being june 5th? Still I'd imagine that if 3dr is letting Hall do something "huge" on DNF then Hall would be kind enough to give them a rumor that June 4th will be the day he does his show. I guess we'll see.

Something I'm really suspicious is...what goddamned publicity is that when you don't announce your own show even when it's just two days for it's premiere? If I had a show I would advertise it a month before the first episode, this doesn't sound right.

This is something we did for Jason months ago and it's not quite going to be what you expect. We didn't want him unveiling the game at that point so the piece was done as a favor for Jason, who we've known for 15 years.

I just don't want people getting too excited over this. The teaser trailer in Dec was about all the teasing we'd planned on. We weren't sure when, or if, this show would ever appear. I look forward to seeing what Jason did with the show. I can promise you that the next time you see the game it'll be in substantial form.
