Features

- Bullet Time now lasts longer
- New Custom Menu Music loop.
- Custom Particle Effects for Bullet Hit.
- Blood now splats on all surfaces.
- New custom blood decals
- Levels now support lots more decals, so you can pretty much make the whole level covered with blood if you wanted to Up to a point. Previous trials of this mod came up with an error due to Direct X not being able to support it all, you can now have heaps of blood without the crash

Description

This is my second edition of my Excessive Blood mod. It adds ALOT of blood to game and it's supposed to copy alot of animes and movies (Kill Bill anyone?) by having huge blood spurts.

This mod is very processor intensive, so you need a pretty fast machine to run it if you want heaps of blood.

If you like it you are free to extract and use anything in this mod free of use, I don't expect anything in return. I learnt from others so hopefully you can learn from me.

How to Install

Extract the zip file into your Max Payne 2 directory then select excessblood2 from the game launcher on startup.

Max Payne : A second chance , chapter 1

readme : A new story driven modification for Max Payne 2.:

Features: -one new level
-Cinematic scenes within the level
-new(and old) graphic novel pages telling the story
-Max has a little beard now
-A light motion-blur effect in bullettime

Extra story info: This story takes place a few weeks after max rejoins the NYPD.
Tip: Use quick save to save once in while.

Credits: Venom4k - level , coding ,story and some prefabs.
Remedy - Textures and prefabs(and ofcourse the rest of the game).
MPH - Couch prefab.
Um-Bongo Rabban - Chrome berreta skin.
Razor Rage - Volcalc Lighting Render and beta-testing.

how to install: Extract the ASC_chapter1.mp2m into your max payne 2 folder , start the game
and choose the mod from the custom game drop down menu.

Yeah it works ok, maybe there are too many users on the ftp which inturn will give a file not found, we have resricted it to a certain number of users due to the increase of bandwidth...this is only until we get more bandwidth sorted out, keep trying :P it does work

Goal:
- Mona Sax must rescue five unarmed hostages
- Hostages will be under fire: yours too!
- If one hostage dies, the game ends
- Mona has to reach the end of the map with all five hostages alive to complete the game

Firstly, hello, I'm new on the forums

I'm going to start from scratch, knowledgewise, and my vision is to create a kung fu mod. Yes, I know it's been done to death. But I want to create, if nothing else for my own pleasure, a kung fu mod based on the Hung Gar system. No Matrix, no Tai Chi etc.

Ideas, suggestions and advice for beginners is most welcome

What's up!

After a long wait on Levels4you for hosting, my first mod is finaly up for download. Yes, it's only a tweak mod, but believe me, it has a huge impact on gameplay. Here's a small discription:

Explanation:
This mod dramaticaly increses the difficulty of MP2. This mod is NOT for beginners, but for experenced gamers that aren't feeling challenged enough.

Changes:
-Added new skill level : "Love Hurts"
-Decreased Max's and Mona's total health.
-decreased painkiller health
-decreased ammo pocket size
-decreased dropped weapon ammo size
-decreased various clip sizes
-changed bullet time attributes
-decreased weapon strength

That's right! After 6 months of development progress from the previous Plaza Raid v1.0, finally PR Mod 1.4 is released!

What's Plaza Raid Mod?
Plaza Raid Mod (PR Mod) offers a new experience for Max Payne 2 with its Plaza Raid Level, a new Dead Man Walking level, and a tutorial level. Basically, the whole idea of this mod is about Max Payne being a police team member to strike Iron Plaza, which has been occupied by armed bad guys (cleaners). Your primary objective is to kill Kaufman (cleaner leader).

How to Play?
To play Plaza Raid level, simply click 'Start Plaza Raid' on the main menu. To play Tutorial level, simply click 'How to Play'. And, to play Plaza Lobby Dead Man Walking level, click 'Plaza Lobby' on Dead Man Walking menu (you must first finish the game in Detective mode in order to access Dead Man Walking).

New features and changes
-Larger and more complex level, consisting of:
1.Office Complex // excluded in this version
2.Shopping Centre
3.Subway Station
-New Plaza Lobby Dead Man Walking level (plus 2 additional DMW levels)
-New sound for 9mm Pistol, Ingram, Pump Shotgun and AK47
-The building (plaza) now has a name: Iron Plaza
-New tutorial level
-Police trouser and Max police cloth modified
-Tweaked painkiller
-Tweaked bullet-time settings (again)
-New bullet-time music
-Some weapons damage power have been increased (including sniper and Dragunov)
-And many more...

yeah, the name is pathetic.
The mod is not really a mod either, its just adding an animation. i got really satisfied with the animation, and so i have to share.
the action is done by pressing back+jump.

Yes, it's only a tweak mod, but believe me, it has a huge impact on gameplay. Here's a small discription: Explanation: This mod dramaticaly increses the difficulty of MP2. Plaza Raid Mod (PR Mod) offers a new experience for Max Payne 2 with its Plaza Raid Level, a new Dead Man Walking level, and a tutorial level. Basically, the whole idea of this mod is about Max Payne being a police team member to strike Iron Plaza, which has been occupied by armed bad guys (cleaners). To play Tutorial level, simply click 'How to Play'.
