Indeed.

At Vlad's place, when you come back to finish him off, go around to the right at the very beginning (the way you go in Max 1) and pick up the Striker and M4.

Not really a secret I suppose, I just missed it the first time I went through, so I guess others did also.

In terms of "secret" secrets, I haven't found any yet. Only allusions so far (eg: "WID", "What about moving", "667, neighbor of the beast", etc).

yeah, "V" is a designer drug in Max payne 1
it is the basis for the first game.

In the mission where there is a war between vinnie's boys and vlad's men...you enter a room with an old man watching Dick Justice on tv. When you stand in front of him he says some crap.

The funny part is that as you listen to the dick justice show...the announcer says something about dick having a "constipated grimace"...hehe..its funny. Remedy sure know how to make fun of themselves.

In the level where you jump into a Cleaner truck before it takes off, and you end up in their building:

You go up the elevator, kill everybody. Come back down to the entrance of the parking lot where you initually jumped out of the van. You'll see two Cleaners coming out and mumbling "Which bastard killed him?" or something like that. And by "him" they mean the driver of the truck in which Max jumped into in order to get into the building.

I also loved the "When It's Done" toilet cop and Mona's nude model (which I discovered on my own).

Another one i found. In the dream level when you are at the police station, go to max's booth. The board that had "the case" on it, there will be written: "Wake up! You are in a camputer game!"

When you talk to the old guy who directs you to the Janitor 'Edward' (for the code to the 7th floor) if you stick around a while after the conversation (I was shotgunning a coke) he says:

"Yeah, Edward knows it" (reference to the "Eddie Knows" gag in Anachronox)

Did you get there through no-clip? No-clip doesn't even work in MP2, unless there's a diffferent command. Anyhow, you don't start outside, so how did you manage to get there?

I think if you do a model change on that level (add -developerkeys and press PageUp and PageDown) it will teleport you to the outside.

That's what I think happened too

I was looking around at "someone" taking a shower (in developer mode) and the level started up outside. So no clipping thing discoved Yatta

Yes you can

add "-developerkeys -screenshot" on the shortcut (I guess you know that).

Then hit F3 anytime, even in the cutscenes

F3 once=you can move the camera up and down and so on, but also zoom in and out with your arrow keys

F3 second time= you move only Max like Resident Evil Camera (Max moving the camera is not).

Do the developer keys interefere with gameplay. Like I mean, are they bound to any other keys that you would normally use, or are those special keys activated only when you press F3?

No, the developer keys do not interfere with anything. F10 takes a screenshot, F3 alters the camera modes, and PAGE UP/PAGE DOWN change character models.

Yes, you have to have the -screenshot command in your shortcut target line or F10 won't function.

Well, I play with the arrow keys and Num_Ins is my BT toggle, so devkeys blew chunks for me.

Go into the police station and into the bathroom where the guy makes the WID reference and peep over the door. You can see that he's reading a book that's inside of a newspaper, as if he's trying to hide something.

Here's something in Vlad's warehouse level. It's not an easter egg but more like a little secret to get more painkillers and ammo. I haven't seen anybody mention it yet so here it is:

Its been mentioned about the fork lift in the first level.
There is a second secret on the first level. Near the the First TV with Dick Justice up on the Boxes is an Uzi and a Box of Uzi ammo.

The only real secret I have found on the Mona level is, in the area where Mona seees the guy prancing like Vlaid, the room she seees them from jump up on the boxes the the cat walk then to the wire trough to the next catwalk for DE ammo and PKiller.

I've played the game 3 time now, also been in developmode and checked out every corner of the game. But I havn't found anything new.
I think there's too little secrets/easter eggs, I had expected more

. I guess there's more, but there can't be that much.

Just wondering exactly what the developers consider a secret or easter egg to be? I, too, have found all the extra caches, the memorial room, and everything mentioned in this thread, but is that the extent of the secrets?

I don't know if its a secret or just a bug or just my computer. But on i think part III chapter 2, where You don't have a weapon and you run from the 2 guys in the hospital, and you go and hide in the room and the 2 guys walk in if you watch the guard with the mp3 when he turns around to shut the door. His body turns one way and his head goes the other way. When I first saw it i was like... wtf... then i reloaded and looked at it agin and was like omg ... he keeps doing every time.
