Wow... come on guys, who CARES? Its a fluke, it could be real by the LOOK of it. Someone said it looks unprofessionall.. I dissagree, theres an amount of work put into it, but thats not the point... This doesn't seem like the type of thing 3DR would do, especially after all these years.

Its fake, stop wetting yourself over it. Besides which fact your "investigation" skills are laughable. Most of the people who post reply comments on youtube have nothing to do with the original poster, with few exceptions.

Another thing, viral advertising is silly, especially for a WELL KNOWN GAMING ICON LIKE DUKE FREAKING NUKEM. DNF needs good old fashioned game advertisment, a trailer, some pictures, a few magazine articles... nothing fancy. As Duke would say "Don't get your panties in a bunch."

I dunno about you but I'd say that Master Chief a gaming icon (as much as I'd hate to consider him one, he is) even bigger than Duke Nukem nowadays and yet Bungie went with a viral marketing campaign for Halo 2 and I think for Halo 3 also. I'm not saying that 3DRealms is currently running a viral marketing gig or anything like that but it's totally possible.

The video sucks. Everyone is just getting desperate. I recommend playing some Duke 3D to get your fix and maybe rationality will return. Or not, just stop giving this thing any credibility PLEASE!

It promotes their upcoming game. Even if it has been 10+ years in development, it keeps the name alive. YouTube is frequented by many people, not all of them old enough to remember Duke3D or the Duke Nukem Name.

I'm really surprised how many of you like this video.

IMHO it's absolutely mediocre - it's just some DNF textures and logos mapped onto a 3D video wall. Many of the textures don't have the correct aspect ratio and are thus stretched. There's just tons of one-liners from different Duke games. Really nothing spectacular.

If it really was viral marketing it'd be something more special, I think.

Well still it is about DUKE Mainly and DNF at the end, so that is an interesting twist too. But you never know 3DR may just release a trailer by the end of the year by christmas maybe. Then we'll see about that, other than that the video to me is sort of fake and real.
