Well, I got outbid, but it went at an amazingly low amount... until I saw where someone asked if the tip of the tonge had been broken and the answer was YES! :/

That probably knocked off some of the "big boys".

I had bids on the original Duke Nukem figure, the Pigcop figure, and a Battlelord figure.

The first two were at 20 bucks just 40 minutes before time was out, and the Battlelord was at 15. I had maximum bids for 40 bucks each.

...I got outbid by 1 dollar on EVERY SINGLE ONE just a MINUTE before it was over

Well that's eBay, I won a simple cd-rom with some usermaps for Duke3D but not after someone tried to outbid me about 12 times but hardly increasing his bid and thus the end price in the meanwhile. Even the simple items related to Duke3D aren't safe for snipers nowadays.

Btw, am I the only one who noticed this?

Yeah thats the E3 2001 DVD with just the trailer on it. There was a thread about that on Duke4.net.

158 bucks it went for, not bad.

Sniping is the only way to bid in my opinion because of "Dollar Bidders". I don't understand or like them. That is part of why I only bid in the last few seconds on eBay so they don't have time to bid 10 times in a row. If you give them a chance, some people will bid many times in small amounts. If you bid early, you will pay more most of the time. Bidding more than 15 minutes early can get your bid found out as well.
I had the second bid on both the DVD and the Statue... but didn't quite make it this time.
After I saw the statue had minor damage, I backed my potential bid off a bit.
I wonder if someone from the board won either of them.
