Meh, that's nothing. I've had this game pre-ordered since 1997.

Ok, not really, but I bet someone has...

I remember preordering not long after that giant PC Gamer article ages ago. Didn't put any money on it though and the company canceled the preorder 6 months later. A shame too, the old screenshots looked really good at the time and I was really looking forward to.

60 bucks!? Bestbuy doesn't know how to price PC games. And they just keep saying 12/01/0X until there's an official release date.

Hmm, none of my local game stores that were around back then exist anymore. I think I'll hold off on the pre-order for a few more years

lol the customer review... More Epic Than The Civil War 11/15/2007
By JoeyJo Read all my reviews Read all my reviews

Pros: Requires prototype hardware, amazing storyline, fantastic map editor, completely reinvents the FPS paradigm
Cons: Major diversion from past Duke Nukems, extra characters, MMORPG version is a bit laggy

"It must have been an angel, or a mistake by an employee, because I was able to purchase a Corporate Preview Demo, and I haven't stopped playing it since. I highly recommend pre-ordering this game, so more pressure will be put on them to release it! Unfinished game, bah! It's perfect as is, and you can patch it later!"

Would you recommend this product to a friend?: Yes

It's not ancient, it's "contemporary". It's not even vintage (30+ years).

You would make one dodgy archaeologist.

But I agree.

Now that the game is scrapped, the story is over and we know the protagonist's efforts were for naught. It's time for a postscript!

And also for the lols.

Yeah, I don't think anyone's gonna get any refunds out of this one for their preorders. Knowing GameStop they may never even let you transfer that preorder to anything else, that I can think of... Dunno how long they let that money in their system before they drop that opportunity.

Yeah...nice. Page Not Found. Too old of a link, obviously, and a project that may never even get anymore mention. Jeez...making me fall for an ancient link to a game that's no longer in the works.
