Anybody seen The Crow: Salvation?
I still think Eric Mabius would make a great Max Payne

Nah, that guy looks too young.

I was watching one of Slater's movie trailers and I think it was the Alone in the Dark trailer I was watching. His character is speaking narativly and he has a depressed, gritty tone and he sounds much like Max.

Remember the movie broken arrow? Remember in the mine shaft when he was diving through the air with the Sig's? He already has the moves.

Gibson is too old. Max looks like he's about 30-40 while gibson Looks like he's 60. I don't think shoot dodge manuvers would look good or believable in bullet time with a cane. And how would he do the dual 9s with a cane in one hand?

I can see it now. Gibson attempts a dashing dive, but instead of looking cool he looks like a coat rack falling over, like an old guy tripping in slow much. When senior citizens to the rescue is in the works then Gibson should be considered.

That was my favorite scene in the movie.

I think I may have found the perfect Max Payne. Tell me what you guys think. He has that vengeful look in his eyes, and he has a damn good puzzling sort of psychological voice, and a very cool tone of voice. He was brilliant in Dark Angel as Ames White.

Sorry I don't have any better or bigger images.

Do you think he could possibly do it though??? He isn't macho looking - Have you seen Dark Angel??? He isn't macho, and he just looks like a plain thin guy.

So many movies are basically Max Payne. I don't think a Max Payne movie would be succesful on a large scale.

Family gets murdered, out for vengance.. It's an old premise.

But it does have a cool name. MAX PAYNE.

I check out the imdb board daily and i saw that for the Max Payne movie the writing credits are:
Sam Lake
Shawn Ryan

The fact is that Sam Lake was not written a week ago and i was wondering if i could get a confirmation or something..if not...that's life...win some - lose some.

and whom do you remedy guys(staff and members) would want to play Max?

i'm not really puttin my hopes high
Ethan Hawk would be a good choice..not the best but i would be happy with him.

Michael T. Weiss from the tv series 'Pretender' IS Max Payne. He has the looks, the voice (sounds almost exactly the same) and he's got experience on wearing a leather jacket

No it doesn't - to me - he looks like a smug p****!!!!

He doesn't have that total darkness about him. He is not max Payne...

He might be close, but if they choose him to play Max, I'm NOT watching the movie.

He looks a bit feminine to me.

Maybe if he changed the jacket a little bit (seems a bit "oh nice jacket dear")and his facial expression a little bit to the more classic Max Payne slightly smug yet constipated look.

How many times can I say "bit".

Re: MAX PAYNE MOVIE
I would go for graphicnovel models - Kathy Tong and Tim Gibbs, they are real actors so why not? Oh... I guess I know why - filmmaker needs actors that won't get up from bed for less than 5mln $ per role...
Monica Belluci (plus blue eye contacts) as Mona Sax would be nice alternative, she has the voice But I'd stil prefer Kathy.

No, no, no.

Johnny Messner is Max Payne!

Check him out:

Pic 1

Pic 2

He was in Anacondas 2, and if you notice he has the real deep voice to go with it. Anacondas is a bad movie, but still the guy is the spitting image for Max.

For Mona, the only person who can ever portray her is Kathy Tong herself. Come on, there can't be anyone else. Definitely NOT Jennifer Garner please!
