it's too much the same...

I'd trust Sammi J. to choose.

I'd say Christian Bale( American Psycho, Equilibrium, The Machinist)
Ed Norton
I saw a few other good choices on imdb..

Re: MAX PAYNE MOVIE
Norton is a skinny boy. Jane would be perfect he's good in dramatics and action. Bale's cool choice too.

That's correct. That's how it's done. And since the Shield rocks, Ryan actually writing it would be nice, but who knows what's going on

Sort of, but Jonny Knox is a complete crackhead. He makes Mentally challenged people look down upon him. They say "GOD DAMN THAT BOY IS RETARDED!!! I thought I was retarded, but this boy is REALLY retarded. He's beyond retarded."

No, have him use his real voice, since max payne is heavy on dialogue and narration it would be funny. The bad guys would say "What? What's he saying. What? Wha What?"

Re: MAX PAYNE MOVIE
It's sad but true. While watching the ringer (sigh, my uncle decided for christmas he would take all my cousins to see it, I had no choice) I sat there, thinking about what a complete souless imbecile he is.

Then, it struck me. He did a scene where he was serious for a second, he looked down, then kind of glanced up. I realized.... it was Max Payne. Perfect.

Give him a black leather jacket, a funky leapord vest, and a couple of Berettas.

.....Of course you could just save some money by getting THE ACTUAL ACTORS they used for the game? Just a thought?

When I got Max Payne 2, my friend said he looked like a guy that used to be in Coronation street, he was the guy that drove off a bridge with the platt family, peeps who are not english may not get it, but like he wore suits most of the time, & yeah he looked like him lol

actually looking at it now maybe he could play max payne in maxpayne 32 or something... with Max in Max Payne 1, Tom Jane is too big, Max is like average build looking, I would say Hugh Jackman or an unknown...

Look at this pic, It's jus Max Payne happy...

Ok in my opnion similiar to some i think Clive Owen would be perfect for this role ,just see sin city he is a very good actor and he has the deep voice and the type that can represent max pain because in sin city he says shoud i kill this cop and risck it all and max payne is like that he kills bandits coruptive cops and helps good cruks(mona sax) and bracks many rules because max payne is buy far side a goody-god cop and sin city is very close of what max payne in movie is probably going to be if they go in that noir style I just hope that they don´t ruine it making it just an action movie and i think that Robert Rodriguez sloud take a part on max payne movie . PS: in wikipedia Clive Owen is associated to max payne movie ho nows Clive Owen in MAX PAYNE http://forums.3drealms.com/vb/images...es/biggrin.gif

Imagine this .....

Take2 makes Max Payne 3 with an even older Max ....
The Max Payne movie plans to get released in the same time as the sequel ....

In that case Bruce would do just great IMO.

So there are many at least satisfying choices for Max(and naturally the worst one will get picked) but I was wondering - which characters do you think are gonna make it to the movie, if it ever comes out?

Payneful Soul
Re: Max Payne Movie
^I would say, either Tim Gibbs(seeing as he's and actor) or(My choice) Cillian Murphy. Naturaly their going to adapt the first film. So I would go with Cillian Murphy for the first film. You may think I'm crazy for this pick, but in Max Payne 1. The thing that made Max' look so appealing is that he didn't look like a real bad ass. He looked just like a normal everyday joe kinda guy. He didn't even look like a cop, which made it easy for him to go undercover.

You weren't intimedated by his look, but by what you saw he was capable of. If you look at 28 Days Later, you see Cillian Murphys character. He seems like an everyday joe kinda guy, who wouldn't hurt a fly if he had to. But by the end of the movie, you see him change into this brutal, primal, fritening guy who you wouldn't really want to piss off. The way he dispatched of the "Soldiers", made it seem as though he had been infected by the virus.

Also theres something about his look, that says Max Payne(the Max in the first game). Cut his hair, put a lether jacket on him. Have him deepen his voice and take in the character. He'd be a great Max Payne.

Old... extremely old thread... but what the hell. My vote... Timothy Olyphant .

He looks pretty similar to the young Max Payne in that film (Catch and Release).

This is true. It's just weird as I see Sam everyday. Wahlberg looks nothing like him. Timothy Olyphant is the closest guy in Hollywood to the look of Max or Sam...
