hmmm. i'm really trying to decipher this.

"keep your eyes open"-this won't be an announcement of a new game....this is something we'll *see* in terms of it in action.

"unveiling"-the world has not seen duke nukem forever since 2001 and that was scrapped. it would truly be an "unveiling"...showing it for the first time in it's new state.

"our next game"-their next game has been Duke Nukem Forever. even though they're supposedly helping another team with a game(producing it) would they claim that game as their "own"? i don't think so.

seems to be alot of cryptic stuff being tossed about.

i can't help but think this is indeed DUKE NUKEM FOREVER.

we just don't know when.

In reality they sit in a dirty room in the ruins of the 3dr hq while talking to persons who don´t exist

charlie a.k.a. weider3dr gave me his blessing to "pursue" the mystery regarding that front page blurb so i'll share 2 *hints?* he may have given me:

One of our oldest fans ever (I'm talking really really old, pre Duke 3D days) has predicted we'd be doing this a LOOOONG time ago.

o.k. guys, get to work! what is it? a follow up to commander keen? a keen fps? a prey game? could he still mean dnf? i'm really at a dead end here.

the problem with all those guesses is that charlie said "there's enough information out there" to guess what it's about.

i have not seen/read anything that remotely points to older 3dr games getting a sequel or followup like keen or xenophage.

george has said lo wang would not be in dnf.

alright, since it seems shadow warrior has been talked about alot recently and the fact that the blurb "watch for the unveiling of our next game soon" happens to be in the same press release as the sw source, i'm going with SHADOW WARRIOR 2!

also i've noticed stephen3dr lurking alot lately(not that it really means anything) and he's on record saying he'd push for a shadow warrior 2(his post i've got linked here is from 1999)

who's developing SHADOW WARRIOR 2? well that would be HUMAN HEAD STUDIOS(using the Doom 3 engine) in association with 3DREALMS with help from LIQUID ENTERTAINMENT.
