Yeah, just saw it - hard to notice it because of all the brown background, and I didn't see the bigger shot.

Looks nice. Although I'm still not sure about the body... Looks too grey. Not to be nitpicky, though; looks nice but I'd prefer a more brownish color.

im not begging, just giving my thoughts on the release date using calculations to give some insight on what 3d realms are thinking. BUt I can say right now, its definitely gonna be awesome

(This is coming from a duke nukem fan, so I call it awesome anyway)

BUT STILL I HAVE TO SAY AWESOME by game standards these days.

They could post it as a 256 colour animated .gif, just to stay consistent with the rest of the 'screenshots' they've released this year.

dunno if anyones picked up on this yet, but if the artist has paid attention to anatomy/muscles, then he's holding something up just out of shot.

Anatomically his arms are far too big for his head and chest!

I meen you expect a mutanty thing to be a bit disproportionate but in my opinion the muscles are just wrong. It looks like his arm haa got balloons in it and it doesn't look part of his body. Also the glowing lighting (bloom) is just too much. Just because you can do something it doesn't always mean it's a good idea. I'm NOT saying this image sucks. It certainly ahs it's good points too - but I'm not excited.

yeah that's a fair comment and who can say a mutant doens't look realistic?? I guess I was just saying it didn't look right to me. I showed it one of my friends who doesn't know 3DR or DNF and asked him what animal he thought had mutated. Straight away he said "wolf" too. It's a nice enough image and it's fantastic to see the game is still progressing. I'm not a troll and I'm not down on this image. I can't wait to see it in the finished game, which of course I will buy the day it's released - even if it has got wolf-cops!

Yeah, people do it for everything. Commenting is one thing, but hell, it's pretty funny to witness this happening; like when StarCraft II has been announced. Few hours/minutes have passed and people were ALREADY complaining about the game.
