To be honest, I think it's more cinematographic to put it on the left.

For proof, the new version of Proton has the plate on the left.

I'll give it some coverage on Duke4Ever.net tomorrow with my comment with it. One thing, I tried to download the trailer (following your instructions) but the file I downloaded was only 312bytes large. I'm using Firefox 2.0 but that shouldn't matter.

Anyway, keep it up because projects like this are pretty damn cool.
